"Bayvista" is a service industry and retail warehouse facility in Deception Bay, North of Brisbane.  The site sits at the entry to an established industrial park on a busy arterial road.  The proposed building responds to this context with bold colours and forms designed to register at the transient speed of passing traffic.  The corner becomes a dynamic gateway to the centre marked by an expressive, up-scaled form.  The public address is further activated via external dining areas and landscaped staff break out spaces. These public terraces are designed to alleviate the vehicle-centric nature of light industrial developments, encouraging activity and pedestrian occupation at the street front.
