CBD Homes Fitout

CBD Homes new office premises is situated within an existing 1980's office building. The space is located over half a floor, and encompasses an awkwardly shaped building floor plate. The design brief was to provide an open layout that encouraged natural dialogue between the various company divisions whilst providing well lit internal spaces.

The brief also consisted of open workstations, office spaces, a tea room, a production area, a boardroom and reception. With the spatial requirements in mind, and with existing low ceilings, the decision was made to remove the ceiling and reveal the fabric of the existing building, creating a casual yet professional environment.
