The Leichhardt

Leichhardt on River is proposed within the heart of vibrant Mackay only a short stroll from the Waterpark, cafés, restaurants and CBD. This apartment building maximises the lifestyle on offer by combining the location – with views of the Pioneer River – with large open plan apartments and integrated balcony spaces. The apartments vary in size and type including dual key and double storey skyhomes. Recreational areas including BBQ’s, gym and lap pool are contained on the roof.

The building has a public edge on the ground floor where commercial spaces were designed to seamlessly integrate into councils Bluewater Quay project. The building itself was conceived as two towers, connected together by a breezeway and the vertical circulation elements. One tower faces River Street with a defined featured podium level and the other facing Brisbane Street.
