Emma Healy

Architectural Graduate

Emma came to architecture via an interest in set design, spawned by her love of classical ballet. After graduating from QUT’s Bachelor of Architecture course in mid 2008, Emma travelled to Paris where she lived for nine months.

She maintains an interest in French language and culture (and of course cuisine!). In her spare time Emma likes to dance, practice floristry and people watch. Emma’s architectural interests include collaborative design processes, multi-disciplinary projects and the conceptual/theoretical basis of design.

She is particularly interested in the unexpected ways that people use urban public spaces. She is happy to be back in the city of her birth at such an exciting period in the city’s evolution. She believes that Brisbane’s full potential will be realised through an appreciation of the city’s built and cultural heritage.
