A part time music reviewer (and full time rock fan) Nick believes that good music and good architecture have a lot in common. A good song tells a story - a story that involves the listener and elicits an emotional or even physical response.
Never one to sit still for long Nick enjoys the chaos of travel, the energy of live music and the rush of daily life.
In contrast to the ever-changing flux of people’s lives, the enduring nature of architecture is what appeals to Nick – life is the production, architecture is the stage.
With interests in Urban Design and the complexities of cities Nick enjoys getting lost – wandering streets and alleys around the world seeing how people live and the spaces they make around them – just so long as no one studies his own mess!
Nick also enjoys hot days, deep shade, good friendsand big waves (even though he can’t surf).
