BOMBERY STREET

CANNON HILL, BRISBANE

The dual character of this building reflects it’s park and suburban street frontage in a rapidly developing community. The Bombery Street façade is characterised by restrained detailing in steel and masonry and simple, clean geometries which reference historical suburban multi-residential forms. The building provides a bold and layered backdrop to the park defined by deep balconies and delicate screens. Expressive parapet forms create a strong civic identity. A vertical ‘street’ separates two ‘wings’ of the building, providing a clear arrival sequence and circulation logic.
