CBD Homes Fitout is within an existing 1980's office building. Their new
office premises is located over half a floor within an awkward shaped building
floor plate. The design brief was to provide an open layout that encouraged
good dialogue between the various company divisions as well as providing
well lit internal spaces.
With existing low ceilings the decision was made
to remove the ceiling and reveal the fabric of the existing building and
create a casual but professional environment. The brief consisted of open
workstations, office spaces, tea room, production area, boardroom and reception.
