The Cole House is located on a sheltered flat site, within a rural setting. It is a simple articulated dwelling for a retired couple. The location affords views across a green field site to the dam beyond.
An elongated rectangular form houses living, sleeping and service spaces under one folded roof, with the external living zone stretching out to the view. Exposed brickwork walls finish at a consistent datum with light weight framing forming a shadowline below the continuous roof line.
