Lambert & Rehbein Fitout

The fit-out for Lambert and Rehbein occupies the top one and a half floors of 120 Wickham Street. The brief called for an open work space for each department along with an individual office for the section leader. Other spaces, such as the board and meeting rooms, the lunch room, the production room and the library, become shared spaces for the various sections. This concept of interaction between company sections manifests itself in an active corridor, connecting the entire fit-out. This corridor performs many functions - Apart from being circulation space running the length of the floor plate on both levels, it also acts as break out space, creating areas for informal meetings.

The fit-out also sought to represent the values of Lambert and Rehbein. Clean, crisp materials dominate the foyer and reception area, making an immediate impact on the visitor through elegance and simplicity. Leading from the reception area, the active corridor maintains a similar vocabulary. This space, as well as the workstation areas opening off the corridor, is detailed with the same care as the main public areas, creating a subtle link whilst maintaining a level of differentiation.
