Reddog Architects have won the J.W. Wilson Award for Building of the Year at the 2016 Central QLD Architecture Awards.
Our CQU Allied Health Stage 2 project was recognised on Friday night at the awards ceremony in Yeppoon and will now progress to the coveted State Architecture Awards in Brisbane on 24 June.
According to the jury, ” The (project) integrates both the professional requirements of external parties, and a public interface, with the university’s learning objects. Sky-lighting, spatial interplay and a palette of natural colours bring a sophisticated quality to circulation spaces and a fresh sensibility to the healthcare typology.”
Thank you to the client, consultants and builder who were integral to delivering the project so successfully.
