Living Design Series | Webinar
Upcoming webinar “Less than Usual” | Register now for the next Living Design Series webinar on 26 November (12 noon). Presented by Paul Worroll, this next webinar in the series explores how compact design can deliver generous and thoughtful living that is sustainable, equitable, affordable and is less than usual or normal. The Garden Bunkie is a starting point, whereby we’ll examine how space optimisation and the “tiny house” movement, informs a broader housing conversation. Comparative case studies — JB House, Clontarf House and Winship Shed — show how good ‘compact’ design responds to diverse households and contexts. Together, these projects highlight how smaller footprints can foster adaptability, affordability, and resilience. The session will share lessons learnt, design strategies, and insights into how alternative housing models can help architects reframe “living large” in a more sustainable, inclusive manner.
