Student of Architecture

Connor Jones

Having grown up in Brisbane, Connor has spent his life appreciating and experiencing what makes subtropical architecture work. He has developed a passion for designing to our unique climate and ensuring every building enhances its context whilst improving human experience. This way of architectural thinking has informed Connor through his studies at QUT, where completed a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours. Alongside working at Reddog, Connor is midway through his Masters studies and savours the learning experiences and opportunities from both.

Connor has worked on projects around Australia over a range of types and scales. This has allowed him to develop skills over all project stages, in client relations and project management. Early in his career, Connor is excited for the opportunity to be exposed to a variety of projects whilst imparting his architectural knowledge in any capacity.

Outside of work, Connor plays sport whenever he can – spending most of his Saturdays’ sweltering on the cricket field. He is also part of social netball and volleyball teams, where he has varying degrees of success. Travelling is also a large part of his life, he always is planning his next trip away.
