Located at the far end of the College campus, the Primary Administration building creates a new entry statement to the primary school as well as providing a new home for administration and teaching staff. The ground floor consists of an entry foyer, meeting spaces and offices and connection to a new library, whilst upstairs is the social and gathering space for the staff.
As you approach from the car park the building overhang provides a legible and covered link through to the classrooms and outdoor play spaces. The use of circular voids allows the penetration of daylight to the ground floor and defines the main entry to the building and an internal courtyard. To the street the two storey brick screens mitigate western sun penetration but also assist with keeping the building in scale with the residential scale of the street.
