An extension containing a new living space, utility area and deck has been added to the existing 3 bedroom timber and tin house. 

This extension is positioned to define two new courtyard spaces between the residual edges of the site and the deck.  This also provides a new visual connection back to the public street edge.

The new spaces are deliberately reserved and scaled to echo the existing building, however where the existing house is introverted, the new extension seeks to boldly add a physical connection to external spaces.
