Clontarf House

To accommodate their growing family, our clients wanted to extend their existing house to include additional rooms. The project needed to be an affordable and practical solution to their need for more space for their family. The existing house was extended 10 years ago and the new extension was designed to work with the original house and the previous extension.   The design for the extension considered the changing family dynamic as well as acknowledging views, privacy, light, cross ventilation and connections to external spaces.  Adding a new main bedroom with walk in robe and ensuite as well as adding an additional room under the main bedroom extension gave the family the extra space they needed.

The Clontarf House extension takes advantage of the local sea breezes with windows and doors designed to promote cross ventilation.
