Dragonfly Pavilion

The Dragonfly Pavilion seeks to provide further engagement opportunities between the park and its users, to create critical mass and concentrate activities of the park at Warner Lakes.

Project details

The scale of the structure was intended for it to be non-intrusive to the adjacent residents but provide a marker to the play area, main grassed area and BBQ facilities. The structure was located at the intersection of all the differing programs and user groups.Materials were selected that were durable and easily maintained in case of damage or graffiti. Structural steel was left galvanised and colours were selected to compliment the landscape environment. Landscaping was provided to integrate it into the park and lakes area. The new pavilion provides power, drinking fountains, amenities, open shaded areas and seating for fitness groups, mobile retailers and markets, parties and hobby group.
