The new multipurpose hall at Toowoomba North State School is a  state-of-the-art facility for sports, community events and everyday school-life.

The hall was developed as part of the Great Schools, Great Future initiative, instituted by the Queensland Department of Education.  Key components of the hall included providing a full-size sports court accommodating basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball and other active-play formats.
